SITE-SPECIFIC INSTALLATION
MATERIAL: SEMIRIGID RESIN ON WOODEN STRUCTURE
SIZE: 5 x 2.3 m
TsuMani talks about awareness. It points out the fact that each of us (how) contributes to the global context in which we are hyper-connected. The arms were made with casts of people’s arms, talking and listening. The feedback was very intense; everyone projected their global problem into the work.
TsuMani is a site-specific installation, thought for the special space at Museo Mecrì, and once away, it takes many shapes of installation development. Always invading spaces, always breaking into heads.
In the catalogue of the exhibition, section “Actuality 1:1", Elena Stoppioni – President of Save The Planet Onlus writes: "(...) Let's tell the truth once and for all: what we really care about is saving the planetary conditions that still allow man to love, to be happy, to generate beauty."
